Julita Zawadzka, PhD

Experience

An expert in litigation in the field of civil law and broadly defined commercial law, where she has represented entrepreneurs in the financial, energy, construction, and automotive industries. Has many years of experience in resolving disputes and preparing litigation tactics in court proceedings. Particularly valued as an experienced attorney in cassation proceedings before the Supreme Court.

She also advises clients on complex commercial insurance matters. Represents clients in claims proceedings, focusing on the protection of their interests.

Real estate law, including real estate legal status regulation and reprivatization claims, is also an important area of her practice. She has participated in projects that covered real estate transactions conducted for one of Poland's largest real estate owners.

She is a doctor of jurisprudence, assistant professor in the Department of Civil Law at Jagiellonian University, and author of numerous scientific articles, monographs and commentaries on laws, devoted to civil law, housing law and civil procedure. Speaker at numerous scientific conferences. Her areas of special scientific interest are issues of property law and problems of legal succession. She teaches contemporary inheritance law in the postgraduate program organized by the Department of Civil Law at Jagiellonian University. She is a member of Europäische Anwaltsvereinigung DACH and a fellow of Deutsche Stiftung für Internationale Rechtliche Zusammenarbeit e.V.
