Julita Zawadzka, PhD

An expert in litigation in the field of civil law and broadly defined commercial law, where she has represented entrepreneurs in the financial, energy, construction, and automotive industries. Has many years of experience in resolving disputes and preparing litigation tactics in court proceedings. Particularly valued as an experienced attorney in cassation proceedings before the Supreme Court.

An important area of her practice is inheritance law and succession planning. Advises clients on preparing the succession of their assets and conducts succession proceedings. She is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners STEP (Affiliate Member). Represents KKG Legal among the associates of the Family Business Law Centre operating at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She teaches at the postgraduate program in contemporary inheritance law, organized by the Department of Civil Law at Jagiellonian University.

In her practice, she also handles real estate law, including the regulation of real estate legal status and reprivatization claims. She has participated in projects related to real estate transactions conducted for one of Poland's largest real estate owners.

She also advises clients on complex commercial insurance matters. Represents clients in claims processes, focusing on protecting their interests.

She is a doctor of jurisprudence, an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Law at Jagiellonian University, and the author of numerous scientific articles, monographs, and commentaries on laws, focusing on civil law, housing law, and civil procedure. Speaker at numerous scientific conferences. Her areas of special scientific interest are issues of property law and problems of legal succession. A member of Europäische Anwaltsvereinigung DACH and a fellow of Deutsche Stiftung für Internationale Rechtliche Zusammenarbeit e.V.
