FDI Moot is a competition aimed at making law students familiar with the issues of dispute resolution between investors and states though investment arbitration. The competition entails the representation of parties to a fictitious dispute and the state based on a case prepared by the organizers. The participants’ task is to write procedural letters for both sides of the dispute, and then represent each of the parties in the course of oral rounds, taking place during the final round of the competition. The topic and the rounds themselves also constitute a unique opportunity to become familiar with the latest trends and the current issues in investment arbitration.
