Professor Andrzej Kubas appeared in the role of an arbitrator at the 5^th National Moot Court – Commercial Arbitration Competition held by the European Law Students’ Association Local Group ELSA Warsaw in cooperation with the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. The competition was addressed at law students from all over Poland and it consisted of two stages: a written stage which concluded on 15 February and the oral stage held on 24-26 April.

Among other moot court type competitions organised in Poland, the National Moot Court – Commercial Arbitration Competition is the only event held in Polish. Moreover, it engages issues characteristic for the Polish legal system. It aims at popularising and promoting knowledge in the scope of arbitral proceedings as well as litigation-related knowledge, proving oneself in the role of an attorney, gaining extensive experience, and applying the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of their university programmes in practice.
