Mr. Wojciech Wandzel, attorney-at-law, a Speaker at the 6th Jagiellonian Colloquium

On 16th January 2015 Krakow hosted the 6th Jagiellonian Colloquium dedicated to solutions stipulated by the Act of 30th May 2014 on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 827) which entered into force on 25th December 2014. Mr. Wojciech Wandzel, attorney-at-law and senior associate at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, took part in the conference in the frames of Panel I dedicated to regulations of the Act on Consumer Rights. The debate touched upon issues related, among others, to entrepreneur’s obligations in contracts and agreements concluded outside of the company’s office or remotely; the right of withdrawal from a consumer agreement and conclusion of remote contracts with the use of electronic communication. The panel was conducted by Professor Bogusław Gnela, PhD. Panel II, conducted by Professor Jerzy Pisuliński, PhD., was dedicated to changes implemented to the Civil Code by the Act on Consumer Rights. The conference concluded with a panel discussion presided over by Professor Fryderyk Zoll, PhD.
