On 15 June, Collegium Novum in Krakow hosted the closing ceremony of the 19th edition of the School of American Law conducted by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.

The participants were greeted by Dr hab. Barbara Iwańska, the UJ Faculty of Law and Administration Vice Dean for Education. Next, Professor Leah Wortham, the Head of the School appointed by the CUA and Kamil Zawicki, attorney-at-law and partner at Kubas Kos Gałkowski, presented the School’s best students with scholarships funded by our Law Firm.

The main goal of the School of American Law is to provide Polish students with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of legal English as well as to gain specialist know-how and knowledge on the US legal and political system – both in terms of its foundations and its specialised areas. Participants also enjoy an opportunity of becoming familiar with American teaching methods.
